Lägg uöp på Kattpolisen i fokus också. Lappa upp till någon km från platsen hon försvann. Upprätta matställe där ni matar kvällstid (annars äter fåglarna upp maten) och ut och spana är det är mörkt. Lycka till!

Och ring lokalpolisen tel 114 14. Någon kan ha tagit hand om söta Mini och anmält som upphittad.

Ni har väl registrerat kissen också med er som ägare i Sverak eller DjurID? I DjurID kan man anmäla att katten är bortsprungen, så syns det och era kontaktuppgifter om en upphittare kollar på numret i örat.

Mini has been missing 3 weeks now, and I need advice on a problem.  I am from the US so prefer to write in english, but can read Swedish very well!  Answer how you like.

The problem is, my neighbor has an extremely aggressive cat that has attacked both of my cats many times, he comes in my yard and chases them!  Mini has been bit by him, but not severely and I have seen him chase and jump on her almost weekly.  Luckily, I was very close by several times, and Mini is tough and fast. But she was often hiding under our porch scared.  Our bigger cat did come in the house 2 years ago with a bite on his face and leg, but we had no proof that the aggressive cat did it. 

Now Mini is gone!  We have had her for 1 1/2 years and she always stays close!  I have wondered what happened to make her leave, until last week when the bully cat chased my older cat right through the cat door and into my house!!  Then this morning, while watching tv with my daugher, I heard the cat door open and he walked right into my living room!  We ran to chase him back out of the house. We chase him out of the yard several times a day and had even sprayed him with water to deter him from returning. But nothing keeps him away. I truly think this cat is the reason my Mini is gone!  Of course, we don't really know.  ´

My question is, what are the steps to take, or the rules, in Sweden how to handle and extremely aggressive cat?  They are not the type of neighbors I can have a "friendly" conversation with about the problem. Can I contact someone about forcing the cat to be castrated? I'm assuming he is not because of the aggressive nature.  Do I contact the police or the veterinarian? 

Any advice is helpful, and please feel comfortable to answer in Swedish.

My best advice would be to contact the county council (Länsstyrelsen) where you live and describe the problems the poor keeping of the cat by the neighbour is causing. It is not OK to have a cat walk into your house!

Last night, he came in my house again.  I tried chasing him back out, but he just hid in a corner.  He was actually friendly toward me, just scared.  But I can't have him coming in and then attacking my cats.  I will contact Länsstyrelsen.  Thank you for the advice.
